After finalizing a new two-year extension with head coach Steve Kerr, the Golden State Warriors are expected to shift their attention toward important roster decisions this offseason.

One of the organization’s main priorities will reportedly be discussing a new contract extension with franchise star Stephen Curry.

Curry currently has one season remaining on his contract, which will pay him $62.6 million during the 2026-27 campaign.

Golden State becomes eligible to negotiate an extension with Curry beginning August 29, and there has been little indication that either side expects the longtime Warriors guard to leave the only NBA team he has ever played for.

In addition to working on Curry’s future, the Warriors are also expected to focus heavily on improving the roster after missing the playoffs for the second time in the last three years.

The franchise is reportedly hoping offseason changes can help return the team to postseason contention.
