Quin Snyder is heading into the final year of his current deal as head coach of the Atlanta Hawks for the 2026–27 season, with expectations that both sides will revisit contract talks once the season concludes.

The organization continues to show strong backing for Snyder and appears interested in keeping him in place for the long term.

Atlanta wrapped up the regular season as the sixth seed while transitioning away from its previous Trae Young-led direction, signaling a shift in team identity.

Snyder also drew interest from the New York Knicks during their coaching search last offseason, though no extension was finalized with Atlanta at that time.

He originally joined the Hawks late in the 2022–23 season, not long after stepping down from his role with the Utah Jazz, and has since established himself as a key figure in the franchise’s current plans.
