The Detroit Pistons enter Sunday’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers with the Eastern Conference’s best record at 59-22, while Indiana sits 14th at 19-62 and has already been eliminated from postseason contention.

Detroit has won all three previous meetings this season and carries momentum into Gainbridge Fieldhouse after back-to-back wins, including a 118-100 road victory over Charlotte and a 137-111 win against Milwaukee.

The Pistons’ injury report is relatively light, but it includes a significant absence in the frontcourt. Jalen Duren is out due to right knee injury management, removing a key interior presence who averages 19.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game on 65.0% shooting.

Wendell Moore Jr., listed as questionable due to a G League two-way designation, remains a depth option whose availability does not heavily impact Detroit’s rotation.

Detroit’s structure still revolves around Cade Cunningham, who is averaging 24.2 points and 9.8 assists, with Tobias Harris and Duncan Robinson spacing the floor and Ausar Thompson contributing defensively.

Indiana’s injury situation is considerably more severe, affecting both primary creators and frontcourt depth.

Tyrese Haliburton is out with a right Achilles tendon tear. Pascal Siakam is also unavailable due to a left ankle sprain, taking away a 24.0 points-per-game scorer who anchors the Pacers’ halfcourt offense.

Andrew Nembhard remains out with thoracic and lumbar injury management, while T.J. McConnell is sidelined with bilateral hamstring issues, leaving the Pacers thin at point guard.

Aaron Nesmith is out with a cervical strain, and Ivica Zubac is unavailable due to a rib fracture, further limiting Indiana’s rotation on both ends.

Johnny Furphy has been ruled out with a torn right ACL, continuing his long-term absence. Kobe Brown, Ben Sheppard, and Jarace Walker are all listed as questionable, adding uncertainty to Indiana’s forward and wing depth entering the game.

Sunday’s game tips off at 6:00 PM ET, with the Pistons aiming to complete a season sweep and extend their position atop the conference standings.
