Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown have been selected as the NBA’s Players of the Week for the Western and Eastern Conferences, respectively, the league announced.
The recognition covers games played between March 30 and April 5.
Gilgeous-Alexander, last season’s MVP, continued his dominant form by averaging 31.7 points, 5.7 assists, and 5.3 rebounds across three wins for Oklahoma City.
His standout performance during that stretch came in an overtime victory against Detroit, where he scored 47 points.
This marks his fourth Player of the Week award this season, having previously earned the honor twice in November and once in January.
He joins Luka Doncic as the only players to win the award four times this season.
In the Eastern Conference, Brown secured the honor after leading Boston with averages of 31.0 points, 5.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game while the team posted a 3-1 record.
It is his third Player of the Week award this season and the seventh of his career.
Boston players have now won the award in back-to-back weeks, with teammate Jayson Tatum taking home the honor the previous week.
The NBA's latest Players of the Week have won the weekly award a combined seven times this season: https://t.co/qih9U4W6W8
