Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown has listed his Seaport District apartment for sale at $4.95 million, according to a report from the Daily Mail on Friday, June 5, adding another layer of attention around his future with the franchise.

The timing comes just over a month after Boston’s playoff elimination, with the property entering the market through George Sarkis and Roy Bahnam of The Sarkis Team at Douglas Elliman.

Brown, 29, is coming off one of the strongest statistical seasons of his career, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.1 assists per game while earning All-NBA Second Team honors and finishing sixth in MVP voting.

The sale involves a 3,500-square-foot residence that combines a three-bedroom apartment with an adjacent studio, totaling four bedrooms and multiple living spaces in one connected unit.

The listing describes the interior as “industrial-chic,” featuring 12-foot original wood beam ceilings and exposed brick walls, along with large windows providing natural light throughout the unit.

The layout includes a wide open-concept living area, a chef’s kitchen with a large island, and high-end appliances designed for full-scale cooking and entertaining.

Additional features include a dedicated games area with a pool table, a primary suite with walk-in closets and a double vanity, and an in-unit washer and dryer setup.

The property also includes a private rooftop deck measuring more than 400 square feet, offering outdoor space in one of Boston’s most active waterfront neighborhoods.

The listing notes that the adjoining studio provides added flexibility, a feature that increases the overall utility of the property within the same address footprint.

Brown is entering the third year of a five-year, $285 million contract, and remains under team control through the prime years of his career, making any potential movement a significant roster-level decision.

Recent reporting from NBA insider Jake Fischer, via Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, indicates the New Orleans Pelicans have emerged as serious suitors exploring pathways to acquire Brown.

New Orleans’ front office is reportedly evaluating multiple scenarios, with nearly every established player available outside rookie guard Jeremiah Fears and center Derik Queen, who are viewed as long-term core pieces.

Any potential trade framework would likely center on Dejounte Murray and Trey Murphy III, alongside multiple first-round draft assets to match Brown’s All-NBA production profile.
