Sources tell Marc Stein of The Stein Line that pressure is increasing on Chicago Bulls executive vice president Arturas Karnisovas.

Now in his sixth year leading the front office, Karnisovas is expected to be part of “pivotal” internal meetings that will determine the organization’s future direction and whether he will remain in his role.

Chicago is on track to miss the playoffs for the eighth time in the past nine seasons, adding to the growing scrutiny.

Stein also reports that the Bulls would like to keep Billy Donovan as head coach, even as UNC has expressed interest in hiring him.

However, Donovan is not expected to make any decisions about his future until after the regular season concludes on April 12.
