The Lakers’ offense continues to revolve around Luka Doncic. The All-Star guard leads the league’s top scoring threats with 33.8 points, 8.3 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game.
Austin Reaves provides secondary scoring at 23.4 points per contest while adding 5.6 assists. LeBron James remains another playmaking hub for the Lakers. The veteran forward averages 20.7 points and 7.0 assists in his 22nd NBA season.
In the frontcourt, Deandre Ayton anchors the interior with 12.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while shooting 67.5% from the field.
Oklahoma City lists two players on its injury report entering the matchup.
Alex Caruso is questionable due to illness. The defensive guard averages 6.3 points and 1.3 steals while providing perimeter pressure in Oklahoma City’s defensive schemes.
Thomas Sorber is ruled out as he continues recovery from right ACL surgery.
Despite the injury, Oklahoma City maintains one of the league’s most balanced rotations. The team features MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who averages 31.6 points and 6.5 assists.
Chet Holmgren provides interior scoring and rim protection with 17.0 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
The two teams have met twice this season, with Oklahoma City winning both matchups. The Thunder defeated Los Angeles 121-92 on November 12 and 119-110 on February 9.
