The Memphis Grizzlies are continuing to add short-term depth, agreeing to a 10-day deal with guard Lucas Williamson, according to Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype.
Williamson, a former Loyola Ramblers standout, has spent the current season in the G League with both the Memphis Hustle and the Windy City Bulls.
After going undrafted in 2022, he joined the Los Angeles Clippers for training camp but was waived and later spent part of that year playing in Canada with the Edmonton Stingers.
Most of his professional experience has come in the G League, particularly with Memphis’ affiliate. This season, he has averaged 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in 23.7 minutes across 46 games.
With injuries piling up, Memphis has relied heavily on 10-day contracts to fill out its roster.
Jaylen Wells (toe) recently became the fifth player on the team to undergo season-ending surgery, joining Zach Edey (elbow), Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (finger), Scotty Pippen Jr. (toe), and Santi Aldama (knee).
