Moses Moody has been diagnosed with a torn patellar tendon in his left knee, an injury that typically requires an extended recovery period and can sometimes keep players out for over a year.

He sustained the non-contact injury during the Warriors’ win over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

Moody had recently secured his future with Golden State, signing a three-year, $37.5 million extension in October 2024 that runs through 2028, when he is set to become a free agent.

Before the injury, Moody was averaging 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 25.7 minutes per game, playing a steady role in the Warriors’ rotation.
