LeBron James set a new NBA record on Saturday, becoming the all-time leader in games played when he took the floor against the Orlando Magic.

The start marked his 1,612th regular season appearance, moving him past Robert Parish for the top spot.

Over the course of his career, James has played 849 games with the Cleveland Cavaliers, 469 with the Los Angeles Lakers, and 294 with the Miami Heat.

He reached the milestone in his 23rd NBA season.

Parish, who previously held the record with 1,611 games, played for the Warriors, Celtics, Hornets, and Bulls.

Before him, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had held the mark with 1,560 games across his time with the Bucks and Lakers.
