The hope of signing Linas Kleiza might still be alive for Olympiacos. Denver Post reports that the Nuggets are choosing between Anthony Carter and Linas Kleiza to become the 12th player on their roster.
Carter is a preference of a head coach George Karl and is likely to remain in Denver for one more season. This would force Kleiza to seriously consider the offer that he received from Olympiacos since he won't be able to find a deal he wants in NBA as a restricted free agent.
Kleiza told to the Lithuanian media several times that the main obstacle keeping him from signing a contract in NBA is the money. If the search for a better contract in NBA ends up in failure the player could be on his way to Europe.
