Marcus Brown will be returning to Kaunas next season. Euroleague's all time top scorer had a valid contract with Zalgiris for one more year. Even though his agent was looking at the options available to his client but in the end veteran guard decided to stay with The Greens.
Last season Brown played for Maccabi Tel Aviv after being loaned out by Zalgiris at the beginning of the season. 35-year-old 1.93m tall American shooting guard found his place on the court in Israel instantly as he averaged 12.3 points per game in Euroleague.
Zalgiris is hoping to build a new team and Marcus Brown is expected to be a role model for the young players. Brown told to the club's official website that he also hopes to help his teammates improve.
