Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv defeated Paris 93-82 in a postponed Round 21 EuroLeague game on Tuesday at Arena 8888 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The win extended Hapoel’s winning streak to three games while ending Paris’ three-game road streak.
Antonio Blakeney led the winners with 24 points, Elijah Bryant added 18, Dan Oturu scored 15, and Collin Malcom contributed 11. Paris fell behind late after leading 30-24 in the first quarter, with Nadir Hifi scoring 16 points and Jared Rhoden adding 13.
Hapoel closed the first half trailing narrowly, 52-53, and turned the game around in the third quarter to take a 75-69 lead. The home side dominated the final frame, outscoring Paris 18-13 to secure the victory.
The win improves Hapoel to 19-11, keeping them in fifth place with a +112 point differential and a strong hold on direct playoff qualification. Paris dropped to 12-20, remaining in 16th with a -70 differential and facing an uphill battle for a play-in spot.
Hapoel shot efficiently, converting 65.7% on two-pointers and 39.3% from three-point range while registering 31 rebounds and 21 assists.
Paris struggled offensively in the second half, scoring only 29 points over the third and fourth quarters combined.
The result strengthens Hapoel’s playoff positioning, while Paris will need to regroup quickly in the remaining EuroLeague fixtures to compete for postseason contention.
