The Chicago Bulls delivered one of their most complete performances of the season, rolling past the Memphis Grizzlies 132-107 on Monday night at the United Center.
Matas Buzelis led the way with 29 points, knocking down five 3-pointers and continuing a recent scoring surge that has produced several of his career-best outings in recent weeks.
Chicago controlled the game with offensive efficiency and pace, shooting 52% from the field while generating consistent looks both in transition and in the half court.
Josh Giddey orchestrated the attack with precision, recording 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 13 assists for his fourth triple-double in the last five games.
The Australian guard now has 12 triple-doubles this season, trailing only Nikola Jokic and Jalen Johnson league-wide, while averaging career highs across points, rebounds, and assists.
The Bulls separated after halftime by outscoring Memphis 71-50 over the final two quarters, turning a competitive game into a one-sided result through improved defensive pressure and ball movement.
Tre Jones added 17 points and five assists, attacking gaps in Memphis’ defense and maintaining tempo alongside Giddey in the backcourt.
Rob Dillingham contributed 15 points off the bench, giving Chicago a scoring boost as the second unit extended the lead.
Chicago also controlled the glass with a 47-37 rebounding edge, limiting second-chance opportunities while converting efficiently on the other end.
Memphis, which has now dropped eight straight games, struggled to keep pace due to injuries and inconsistent shooting.
Cedric Coward led the visitors with 17 points on 7-of-13 shooting, while Jaylen Wells and Taylor Hendricks each scored 16.
The Grizzlies shot 45% from the field but were unable to match Chicago’s offensive output, particularly during the decisive third quarter run.
Memphis continues to play without key contributors, including Ja Morant and Zach Edey, and also missed Ty Jerome and G.G. Jackson in this contest.
The loss drops the Grizzlies to 23-44, as they remain near the bottom of the Western Conference standings during a prolonged stretch of defeats.
Chicago, now 28-40, remains 12th in the Eastern Conference and six games behind the final play-in spot, making consistency a key factor over the final stretch.
The Bulls will look to build on this performance when they host the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, while the Grizzlies return home to face the Denver Nuggets.
