The Golden State Warriors will visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, March 15 with tip-off scheduled for 8:00 PM ET. The matchup comes as both teams navigate critical stretches in their playoff campaigns.

Golden State faces a significant injury crisis, with eight players sidelined. Stephen Curry (right patellofemoral pain syndrome), Jimmy Butler III (right ACL), Seth Curry (left adductor strain), Draymond Green (left low back), Al Horford (right soleus), De’Anthony Melton (left knee), Moses Moody (right wrist), and Kristaps Porzingis (illness management) are all out. Forward Quinten Post is listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain.

These absences remove several of the team’s top scorers and key defenders, including Curry, who is averaging 27.2 points per game, and Butler, who contributed 20.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per contest before the season-ending ACL injury.

The Knicks have a lighter injury slate, with veteran Josh Hart probable with left knee soreness and Jeremy Sochan probable due to illness. Miles McBride is out following pelvic surgery, while Pacome Dadiet, Trey Jemison III, Dillon Jones, and Kevin McCullar Jr. are listed as questionable due to G League assignments.

Key contributors like Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns remain available, anchoring a Knicks team riding a two-game winning streak.

Golden State enters the game on a two-game losing streak, including a 124-130 loss to the Chicago Bulls on March 10 and a 117-127 home defeat against the Timberwolves on March 13.

The Warriors sit 9th in the Western Conference with a 32-34 record, while New York holds third in the East at 43-25, aiming to extend a two-game road winning streak.

This will be the second meeting between the teams this season. Golden State won the first encounter 126-113 on January 15 at home.
