Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv suffered a big blow with the news that All-EuroLeague forward Quincy Miller will be sidelined long term due to a knee injury that will keep him out at least until the end of 2016.

An MRI test revealed Miller tore his PCL. The recovery from this ligament injury does not require surgery, but physical therapy could take from 6 to 9 months. It means that with the most optimistic prognosis Miller would not return to action and make his Maccabi debut before the start of 2017.

Miller is one of four Maccabi additions this summer. He had a memorable rookie debut season in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playing for Crvena Zvezda Telekom Belgrade, averaging 14.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 24 games. He ranked second in blocks, seventh in scoring and was voted to the All-EuroLeague second team by fans and media.
