Kawhi Leonard scored 28 points and Bennedict Mathurin added 26 to lead the LA Clippers past the Chicago Bulls 119-108 at the Intuit Dome on Friday.
Jordan Miller contributed 14 points as the Clippers extended their winning streak to four games and improved to 34-32, two games over .500 for the first time this season.
Leonard reached 20 points for the 44th straight game, tying Bob McAdoo’s franchise record set with the Buffalo Braves in 1974-75.
The Clippers managed the game despite the absence of Daruis Garland, sidelined with a left toe injury on the front end of a back-to-back.
Chicago was paced by Josh Giddey’s 20-point triple-double, with 11 rebounds and 10 assists, while Tre Jones scored 21 and Matas Buzelis added 18.
Los Angeles shot 46% overall and 28% from three, while the Bulls made 44.2% of their shots with 29.3% from long range.
The Clippers rallied in the second half to maintain control, limiting the Bulls after a competitive first half and sealing the win with timely shooting from Leonard and Mathurin.
Chicago fell to 27-40 after losing consecutive nights in Los Angeles, following a 142-130 defeat to the Lakers on Thursday.
Los Angeles solidified its hold on the Western Conference play-in tournament spot, winning seven of eight games in their current stretch.
The Bulls return home to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, while the Clippers host the Sacramento Kings on Saturday.
