Anthony Davis underwent a follow-up evaluation on Wednesday with Dr. Steven Shin at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles as he continues recovering from ligament damage in his left hand.

The examination showed that Davis is healing according to expectations, and he has now been cleared to resume limited individual basketball workouts on the court.

He is scheduled for another medical check in two weeks, at which point the team will provide an additional update on his recovery timeline.

The Wizards acquired Davis from the Mavericks at the trade deadline, but he has not yet played in a game for Washington while rehabbing the injury.

Before the trade, Davis suited up for 20 games with Dallas this season and averaged 20.4 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists across 31.3 minutes per contest.
