Pistons guard Cade Cunningham said he has been impressed by the durability and professionalism of veteran forward Tobias Harris, Coty Davis of the Detroit News reports.
Cunningham noted that Harris’ ability to continue producing deep into his career is something younger players look up to.
“It’s impressive. It is something all of us young guys aspire to be,” the player said.
“In year 15, I want to be able to come out, feel good, and be able to get into my bag as he does. For him to be doing that with us and bringing as much fire to our huddles and on the court, it means a lot.”
Harris, who will become an unrestricted free agent after the season, is averaging 13.2 points and 5.2 rebounds in 28.3 minutes per game.
The veteran recently delivered several key performances, including a clutch shot in overtime against Cleveland on Friday and a 23-point, seven-rebound outing versus Orlando on Sunday.
“For me, it has been about keeping myself mentally and physically in the best condition,” Harris said.
