Here’s Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosley on the readiness/professionalism of Goga Bitadze after filling in for Wendell Carter Jr. at starting center during Tuesday’s 126-109 home win vs. the Washington Wizards (9 points/6 rebounds/2 assists/1 block/2-3 FG/5-8 FT/+8 +/- in 21 minutes).

(via Orlando Magic):

“I mean, he (Wendell) started feeling it in his shooting slot, the ankle. So, him not being able to go. But I say this and I want everybody to listen as much as you can, that is the reason why Goga Bitadze is an absolute pro. Not knowing what was gonna happen, going through shootaround just being on the sub pattern, and he hasn’t played in who knows how long. But his ability to stay ready, to stay locked in, to follow the game plan, to guard the right guy, to do the right thing, the same energy no matter what was happening. He represents exactly what we need to have happen when your number is called, and he did that. I can’t give him enough credit for being able to be called on the last minute and come out and play the way that he did and impact the game.”
