The New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors face Tuesday’s game at Scotiabank Arena with notable injury concerns affecting both rosters.
New York will be without Miles McBride, who is recovering from pelvic and core muscle surgery, alongside G League assignments for Pacome Dadiet, Trey Jemison III, and Dillon Jones.
Toronto’s lineup is also impacted, with Collin Murray-Boyles sidelined due to a left thumb sprain, while Chucky Hepburn remains out on a G League two-way contract.
The Knicks enter the contest on a two-game winning streak, most recently defeating the San Antonio Spurs 114-89 on March 1. Jalen Brunson has been a consistent performer, averaging 26.7 points, 6.1 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game this season, while Mikal Bridges contributes 15.7 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest. Karl-Anthony Towns adds nearly 20 points and 11.8 rebounds per night.
Toronto comes off a 134-125 victory against the Washington Wizards on February 28, with Brandon Ingram leading the way at 21.9 points per game. Scottie Barnes provides 19.1 points and 8.2 rebounds, and RJ Barrett averages 18 points per outing. Jakob Poeltl, despite playing only 26 games this season, remains an effective presence in the paint with 7.4 rebounds per game.
The Knicks have dominated the Raptors in their three previous meetings this season, winning all contests by double digits, including a 119-92 victory on January 28.
Both teams are solidly in playoff contention, with New York holding a 39-22 record for third place in the Eastern Conference and Toronto at 35-25 in fifth.
Tuesday’s game tips off at 7:30 PM ET.
