
The New York Knicks dethroned the Toronto Raptors 119-92, extending their winning streak to four on Wednesday night.
Mikal Bridges dropped 19 of his 30 points in the third quarter, while Karl Anthony Towns grabbed a season-high 22 rebounds for the Knicks.
OG Anunoby had 26 points and a season-high six steals against his former team, Josh Hart scored 22, and Jalen Brunson added 13 as New York won their 11th straight meeting with the Raptors.
On the other hand, Brandon Ingram scored 27 points, Scottie Barnes tallied 17 points and 10 rebounds, while RJ Barrett added 14 points.
Toronto’s four-game winning streak has ended.
The Knicks shot 4 of 19 from three-point range in the first half, but Bridges helped turn that around by making 3 of 4 in the third.
Mitchell Robinson and Miles McBride were sidelined for the Knicks due to left ankle injuries after playing in a home win against the Sacramento Kings.
The Raptors shot 6 of 17 from three-point range in the first half but went 1 of 9 rest of the way.
Toronto led by 12 in the opening half before the Knicks rallied, followed by Anunoby’s fastbreak dunk with 3:54 left in the third to earn its first lead, 69-68.
Although New York had as many as six turnovers in the first quarter, the Raptors finished with 20, compared to the Knicks’ 18.
Both teams will compete on Friday night: New York will host the Trail Blazers, while the Raptors will be in Orlando.
