The Portland Trail Blazers have added guard Chris Youngblood on a two-way contract from the Oklahoma City Thunder’s G League affiliate, the OKC Blue, NBA insider Shams Charania reported Monday.
Youngblood, 23, appeared in 32 NBA games last season with Oklahoma City, averaging 2.0 points, 0.9 rebounds, and 0.3 assists in 5.4 minutes per contest.
While his minutes were limited, he connected on 31.4 percent of three-point attempts and shot 90 percent from the free-throw line.
In the G League, Youngblood averaged 15.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.7 assists over seven games for OKC Blue, hitting 36.8 percent from three and 94.4 percent at the line.
Portland currently sits 10th in the Western Conference at 29-33 and is seeking perimeter shooting and guard depth for the final stretch of the 2025-26 season.
The Blazers’ backcourt already features Shaedon Sharpe, averaging 21.4 points, and Jrue Holiday, contributing 16.0 points and 6.2 assists, with Scoot Henderson developing as a secondary playmaker.
A two-way contract allows Youngblood to split time between the NBA roster and the G League while providing flexibility for Portland in case of injuries or rotation changes.
