Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is scheduled to undergo another evaluation in about 10 days as he continues recovering from pain in his right knee.

The issue has been identified as “runner’s knee”, a condition known for ongoing discomfort and tenderness in the knee area, usually centered near the kneecap.

Because of the soreness, Curry has already sat out the Warriors’ past 10 games. Should he remain unavailable for the full 10-day period before reassessment, he would likely miss roughly five additional games.

Up to this point in the season, the Warriors have played 21 games without Curry in the lineup, posting an 8-13 record during those matchups.
