Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra praised the versatility of sophomore Pelle Larsson following Friday’s 128-97 road win vs. the Atlanta Hawks (12 points/6 rebounds/1 assist/2 steals/6-9 FG/+16 +/- in 32 minutes as a starter).

“He’s the glue that really can help maximize lineups. You have seen this a ton, but whenever he’s been with that starting unit, it’s been incredibly dynamic. He does all the little things that aren’t seen or not really noticed on the outside, but we notice it. The cuts, the movement, taking charges, running the floor, just moving the basketball, being a ball mover, allowing the scorers to just focus on their strengths. But he was that kind of player coming out of college. He was the four-year player that sometimes people look at it, ‘They don’t have potential.’ But we saw great potential in his ability to be an elite role player, not just a good role player.”
