The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially signed guard Darius Brown II to a two-way contract and waived Emanuel Miller, the team announced. Brown will be eligible to be active for up to 15 NBA regular-season games.

According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Brown reached an agreement with Cleveland through agent Matt Slan.

The 26-year-old previously signed Exhibit 10 contracts with the Cavaliers in each of the past two Octobers after going undrafted out of Utah State in 2024.

Brown has become a key contributor for the Cleveland Charge, the Cavs’ G League affiliate, appearing in 78 games since turning pro and earning a regular starting role this season.

In 34 games in 2025/26, he averaged 12.4 points, 9.7 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game while shooting .436/.398/.839.

He replaces Emanuel Miller on Cleveland’s two-way roster.

Miller, acquired in a three-team trade involving Chicago and Sacramento largely for procedural reasons, never appeared in a game for the Cavaliers and will now seek another opportunity.

The 6-foot-5 Canadian forward played 11 NBA games for the Bulls after signing a two-way deal in December 2024 and averaged 17.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 24 G League games this season.
