The Milwaukee Bucks visit the Washington Wizards on Thursday, January 29, at Capital One Arena with several key players sidelined.

Giannis Antetokounmpo remains out with a right calf strain, while Kevin Porter Jr. is sidelined with a right oblique strain. Taurean Prince is out following neck surgery, and Alex Antetokounmpo is unavailable on a two-way G League assignment.

Washington faces its own injury challenges, missing Marvin Bagley III with a thoracic strain, Tristan Vukcevic with a left hamstring strain, and Cam Whitmore due to a right shoulder deep vein thrombosis. Trae Young is sidelined with a right knee MCL sprain and quad contusion, while Alex Sarr is questionable due to illness.

Milwaukee currently sits 12th in the Eastern Conference at 18-27, averaging 112.1 points per game while allowing 116.0. Giannis Antetokounmpo leads the team with 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per contest. Ryan Rollins contributes 16.3 points and 4.6 rebounds, and Bobby Portis adds 13.2 points and 6.6 boards per outing.

The Wizards are last in the East at 11-34, scoring 112.3 points per game and allowing 122.8. Alex Sarr has been the team’s leading scorer with 17.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Kyshawn George adds 15.6 points and 5.9 rebounds, while Tre Johnson averages 13.1 points and 2.8 assists. Khris Middleton contributes 10.1 points in 31 games this season.
