Andrew Nembhard scored 27 points with 11 rebounds, and Jarace Walker added a career-high 26 to lead the Indiana Pacers past the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-114 on Friday at Paycom Center.
Pascal Siakam contributed 21 points as the Pacers snapped a three-game losing streak, holding off a late rally by the NBA-best Thunder.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 47 points, including nine in the final two minutes, while Chet Holmgren added 25 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks for Oklahoma City.
Indiana trailed 113-103 with 2:35 remaining, but Walker sank four clutch free throws in the final 10 seconds to secure the upset.
The Pacers built an early 47-30 lead thanks to Nembhard’s 3-pointer in the second quarter, though the Thunder trimmed the deficit to 58-53 at halftime on a 23-11 run.
Oklahoma City played without Jalen Williams, Isaiah Hartenstein, and Alex Caruso, while Indiana was missing Bennedict Mathurin, Obi Toppin, and Quenton Jackson.
The Thunder converted 49% of their shots and 27% from three, while the Pacers shot 47% overall and 42% from beyond the arc.
Indiana improved to 11-35, remaining at the bottom of the Eastern Conference, while Oklahoma City fell to 37-9 but still holds the league’s best record.
The Pacers travel to Atlanta on Monday, and the Thunder host Toronto on Sunday in their next matchups.
