AS Monaco extended its winning streak to six games with a 95-87 victory over Paris Basketball at Adidas Arena on Thursday.

Mike James led the way with 23 points, including a club-record 17 in the first quarter, setting the tone for the visitors’ performance.

Despite Paris briefly drawing level at 27-27 and 59-59, Monaco maintained control for 35 of the game’s 40 minutes.

Alpha Diallo and Jaron Blossomgame limited Paris to just 19 three-point attempts, making only seven, the second-lowest mark of the season for the hosts.

Inside, Kevarrius Hayes and Daniel Theis combined for seven blocks, protecting the rim and denying easy scoring opportunities.

Monaco forced turnovers and converted them into timely baskets, with Diallo drawing a crucial charge on Nadir Hifi late in the fourth quarter.

Paris struggled from beyond the arc, hitting only 7-of-19 triples, and allowed 17 offensive rebounds while committing 11 turnovers. Nadir Hifi led Paris with 19 points.

Monaco now sits atop the EuroLeague standings at 15-7 and prepares to host Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade next Tuesday before visiting Real Madrid.

Paris remains 17th at 7-14 and will need to regroup quickly as it travels to Valencia Basket before hosting Dubai Basketball on Thursday.
