Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd talked about the team’s ongoing injuries this season following last night’s 118-109 home loss vs. the Denver Nuggets (15-26 record).

(via Dallas Mavericks):

“They have no choice (but to buy in), that’s the simple answer. They’re pros. Their character’s gonna be tested in hard times, and this is a hard time for us. We’ve had a lot of injuries. We kinda jokingly say that we’re getting healthy, but we’ve been hurt since day one of training camp. And so, this is the norm. This is who we are. And so, the character’s been displayed in tough times of being down, but we keep fighting. And so, we always say, ‘Next man up.’ But that is a true statement because of the injuries and our two-ways give us a spark. Ryan [Nembhard] was good tonight. B-Will (Brandon Williams) was good. And Miles [Kelly] had some great looks that just didn’t go down for him tonight.”
