If Dallas chooses to move Anthony Davis, multiple teams are expected to at least explore the idea. The Hawks, Raptors, Warriors, and Bucks have all been mentioned as having some level of interest, though each faces clear limitations.

Atlanta stands out due to its ongoing efforts to trade Trae Young. The Hawks could potentially structure a Davis deal around Young as the main salary piece or pursue Davis after a Young trade creates more flexibility, possibly using Kristaps Porzingis as part of the outgoing money.

Toronto’s interest is tied to its need for help in the frontcourt, but matching Davis’ salary would require sending out long-term contracts, something Dallas is believed to want to avoid. That makes a straightforward deal difficult.

Golden State’s path is even narrower. Without including Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green, the Warriors have little chance of matching Davis’ contract, and neither player is expected to be made available.

Milwaukee remains focused on building around Giannis Antetokounmpo rather than reshaping its core. The Bucks would also struggle to match salary and lack the draft assets that could make a deal more appealing to Dallas.
