San Antonio appears to be getting closer to having Victor Wembanyama back on the floor.

The Spurs have listed the big man as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies after he took part in full 5-on-5 action during Monday’s practice, according to Tom Orsborn of The San Antonio Express-News.

Wembanyama has missed the last two games while dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee, but his participation in contact work suggests he is nearing clearance.

The team plans to reevaluate him before Tuesday’s tipoff, which opens a back-to-back set.

If the Spurs decide to hold him out for an extra day, there is still a strong chance he could return Wednesday when San Antonio faces the Los Angeles Lakers.

Either way, all signs point to Wembanyama being close to resuming game action after a brief absence.
