Denver Nuggets are set to get a partial boost Sunday, as both Aaron Gordon and Christian Braun are expected to return to action against the Brooklyn Nets.

Each player will be eased back with a minutes limit in place as Denver manages their workloads.

Gordon has been sidelined since November 21 while dealing with a hamstring strain, and his absence has been felt.

During the stretch without him, the Nuggets have posted an 11-8 record, navigating an inconsistent run without one of their most versatile contributors.

When healthy this season, Gordon has produced 18.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, providing both scoring and physicality on the wing.

Braun has also missed significant time, having been out since November 12 and appearing in only 11 games so far this year.

His return adds needed perimeter depth and defensive energy to a rotation that has been stretched thin.

Denver’s injury concerns have mounted recently, as the team also lost Nikola Jokic and Jonas Valanciunas earlier in the week.

Jokic is expected to miss at least four weeks after hyperextending his left knee, while Valanciunas remains sidelined with a calf injury, making Gordon’s and Braun’s returns especially timely.
