The Philadelphia 76ers are relying on Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Paul George to lead the team, but they’ve had very little time together on the court.

Friday’s loss to Chicago marked just the fourth game this season in which all three were available, and Philadelphia is now 0–4 in those contests.

While each player has performed well individually, the lack of chemistry has been evident.

Coach Nick Nurse has pointed to injuries as the main issue, noting that the trio simply hasn’t had enough time to build rhythm.

Figuring out how the offense should function with all three remains a challenge, especially with Embiid’s post-heavy style and Maxey emerging as one of the league’s top scorers this season.

Earlier in the year, the Sixers were most effective playing at a faster pace led by Maxey and rookie VJ Edgecombe.

That tempo has slowed with Embiid’s increased availability, changing the team’s identity.

Maxey acknowledged that limited practice time has made adjustments difficult, adding that the group needs to find solutions quickly.
