The Chicago Bulls matched a season high with their fifth straight after dethroning the Philadelphia 76ers 109-12, on Friday evening.

Chicago scored the final 10 points of the game when Jalen Smith sparked a game-ending run with a thunderous dunk on Joel Embiid.

Tre Jones and Zach Collins each had 15 points, while Coby White added 13, helping the Bulls match their best streak since a 5-0 start, which resulted in a 15-15 win-loss record.

On the other hand, Embiid led the Sixers with 31 points, Tyrese Maxey added 27 with five three-pointers, and Paul George shook off a slow start to finish with 15 points and a season-high 12 rebounds.

Philadelphia lost for the fourth time in as many games this season with its three stars in the lineup.

The Sixers led 102-99 after Embiid backed in with 2:45 remaining, until Smith made the baseline dunk over the Philadelphia big man with about 2:30 remaining.

Maxey tried to answer while driving, but got blocked by Nikola Vucevic, and Jones tracked down a loose ball and laid it in with 47 seconds left.

Embiid has already missed 15 games due to right knee soreness, which has led to cold shooting as Philadelphia made just 3 of 15 three-pointers and 19 of 50 field goals.

The Bulls will host Milwaukee on Saturday, while Philadelphia is on a road trip against the Thunder on Sunday.
