The Charlotte Hornets added frontcourt depth Wednesday by signing PJ Hall to a two-way contract, continuing the team’s focus on internal development during the 2025–26 season. The move was first reported by Ohm Youngmisuk, citing confirmation from ProMondo Sports.

Hall earns the contract after a productive stretch with the Greensboro Swarm, where he has averaged 14.8 points and 9.1 rebounds while shooting 62.3% from the field.

The signing gives Charlotte an additional interior option behind a rotation that has relied heavily on Ryan Kalkbrenner, Mason Plumlee, and Moussa Diabate. With the Hornets sitting at 10-20, the organization has emphasized evaluating younger players while maintaining roster flexibility.

Hall’s NBA path has included several stops over the past two seasons. After going undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft, he joined the Denver Nuggets for Summer League and later signed a two-way deal, appearing in 19 games during the 2024–25 season.

In those appearances with Denver, Hall averaged 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in limited minutes, primarily functioning as a developmental big.

He later signed a two-way contract with the Memphis Grizzlies in July 2025, appearing in seven games before being waived in November following a roster move.

The G League has been where Hall’s offensive skill set has translated most clearly. Across 10 total G League games this season, he has posted 15.7 points and 8.6 rebounds per game while showing improved touch as a finisher and better positioning on the glass.
