Given his production and scoring versatility, Siegel suggests Porter is likely to attract attention from playoff-caliber teams looking for immediate offensive help.

The other name to watch is Cam Thomas, though his situation is far more complicated.

Thomas holds contractual control that allows him to block trades, and league sentiment indicates there is currently limited demand for the 24-year-old.

His value has also been muted by availability concerns, as he remains out with a left hamstring injury that lingered through much of last season.

Even so, Siegel floats the idea that Brooklyn could still extract some value, potentially in the form of one or two second-round picks, if a team views Thomas as a short-term scoring boost.

That possibility is shaped by the fact that Thomas is set to hit unrestricted free agency next summer, making any acquisition a rental rather than a long-term commitment.
