Brandon Ingram scored 29 points and Scottie Barnes added 24 to lead the Toronto Raptors (17-11) to a 111-105 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks (11-17) on Thursday at Fiserv Forum.
Toronto bounced back from a four-game skid with back-to-back road wins, having defeated Miami 106-96 on Monday. Sandro Mamukelashvili contributed 18 points, while Barnes grabbed 11 rebounds and Immanuel Quickley dished out 10 assists.
Milwaukee played without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the fifth consecutive game as he recovers from a right calf strain and also missed Kyle Kuzma due to illness. Bobby Portis led the Bucks with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Kevin Porter Jr. added 22 points and 13 assists.
The Raptors trailed by as many as 11 points in the first half but regained control in the third quarter after Barnes converted a driving layup and free throw, completing a 3-point play to put Toronto back in front. Gradey Dick extended the lead to 89-80 with a 3-pointer, forcing Milwaukee to rally, but Toronto responded with a 10-3 run to maintain a double-digit lead.
Toronto shot 50% from the field and 37% from three-point range, while Milwaukee finished at 45% and 41%, struggling to overcome turnovers that allowed the Raptors to capitalize in transition. Quickley’s late baskets secured the win and ended Milwaukee’s chance for a comeback.
The Raptors host Boston on Saturday, while the Bucks travel to Minnesota on Sunday, continuing a grueling stretch that will see them play 11 of 14 games on the road.
