Valencia Basket delivered another dominant EuroLeague performance on Tuesday, toppling Olympiacos Piraeus 99-92 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Piraeus. The Spanish side relied on hot shooting and precise ball movement to maintain its impressive form.

Pedro Martinez’s squad trailed by as many as 13 in the third quarter, but an electrifying 39-point surge over the final 11 minutes turned the game around. Half of Valencia’s 32 three-point attempts found the mark, including six in the decisive fourth quarter.

Nate Reuvers and Matt Costello led the charge, combining for 35 points. Reuvers finished with a career-high 21 points on three triples in under 19 minutes, while Costello added 14 points with four made threes, stretching the floor and creating space for the guards.

Valencia’s team play stood out, as the visitors dished a season-high 29 assists while committing only 13 turnovers.

Olympiacos opened the second half with a 12-0 run, fueled by Thomas Walkup, who scored nine points, including back-to-back triples and a three-point play. Nikola Milutinov’s inside scoring gave the hosts a 73-60 edge with 1:21 left in the third, but Valencia’s precision from deep erased the deficit in spectacular fashion.

Darius Thompson’s efficient 24 minutes exemplified Martinez’s rotation philosophy, allowing the team to maintain energy in the fourth quarter. The visitors shot 50 percent from downtown overall, converting opportunities through ball circulation rather than isolation plays.

The victory extended Valencia’s winning streak to five games, improving its EuroLeague record to 11-5. Olympiacos, now 8-7, will look to bounce back when hosting LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne on Friday, while Valencia faces a tough road test at Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv on Thursday.
