Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 33 points in three quarters, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 132-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday at Paycom Center. The Thunder improved to 22-1, marking their 14th consecutive win.

Gilgeous-Alexander was highly efficient, making 10 of 12 field goals and 11 of 12 free throws, extending his streak of 20-point games to 95, the second-longest in NBA history behind Wilt Chamberlain. Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams each added 15 points, while Oklahoma City shot 56% from the field and made 26 of 28 free throws.

Dallas, without several key contributors, saw Jaden Hardy lead with 23 points and Naji Marshall contribute 18. Star rookie Cooper Flagg, averaging 27 points over a three-game winning streak, scored 16 in the loss. Anthony Davis struggled offensively, finishing with just two points on 1-for-9 shooting.

The Thunder built a 63-48 halftime lead after Gilgeous-Alexander scored 17 points in the first two quarters. Oklahoma City then dominated the third quarter, outscoring Dallas 41-26, with Gilgeous-Alexander adding 16 points in the frame to push the lead to 104-74 entering the fourth.

Dallas briefly closed the gap in the fourth but never seriously threatened, as the Thunder’s efficient offense and strong bench play controlled the remainder of the game. Oklahoma City recorded 43 assists, 56% shooting, and 30 rebounds compared to Dallas’ 28 rebounds and 41-86 shooting.

The victory keeps Oklahoma City atop the league standings, while the Mavericks fall to 8-16. Oklahoma City visits the Utah Jazz on Sunday, and Dallas hosts the Houston Rockets on Saturday.
