Utah Jazz head coach Will Hardy believes that rookie Ace Bailey has been developing in the right direction as of late (averaging 13.9 PPG/3.4 RPG/1.8 APG/1.2 SPG/0.2 BPG/1.3 TOV/2.8 PF/53.4% FG/67.3% 2-PT/40.7% 3-PT/77.8% FT/24.9 MPG in ten straight starts).

“Ace is playing great, and I think he continues to show us all glimpses into the future of things that he can be capable of. Making shots over the top is a really important skill in our league, especially when you start looking at end of games. In the playoffs, a lot of those shots have to be made. And so, Ace is showing an ability to get off a variety of shots and he’s having some success, which I think is good. It’s taking some restraint to not overemphasize those things right now and make his life solely about those things. I think there’s gonna be a time and a place where there’s gonna be more of that, but Ace has a really good way about him in terms of I haven’t seen him look nervous yet. He just goes out there and plays. He plays within the construct of the team. He’s learning really fast and he’s continuing to get better.”
