Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 24 points, including 16 in the second half, as the Memphis Grizzlies overcame a 16-point deficit to beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-107 on Friday at the Intuit Dome. The win marked Memphis’ fourth in five games and concluded their NBA Cup group play at 3-1.

Vincent Williams Jr. added 16 points and Santi Aldama contributed 13 off the bench, helping the Grizzlies maintain a three-game road winning streak after a rough start to the season. Zach Edey grabbed 21 rebounds despite scoring only five points.

Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with 39 points on 15-of-24 shooting, while James Harden added 23 points. Los Angeles shot just 31.6% from three-point range, struggling to sustain the strong perimeter start that saw them make six of nine long-range attempts in the first quarter.

Memphis fell behind early but rallied in the third, closing the period at 81-78 after cutting a 16-point deficit. Cedric Coward gave the Grizzlies their first lead early in the fourth quarter, setting up an eight-point advantage by the final buzzer.

The Clippers celebrated Chris Paul with a video tribute in his first home game since announcing his retirement, but the point guard contributed only five points and two rebounds in 15 minutes. Los Angeles has now lost six straight at home, with their last win at the Intuit Dome coming on October 31.

The Grizzlies finished 44% from the field and 43% from three, while the Clippers shot 38% from beyond the arc. Memphis also limited turnovers and executed timely scoring in the final quarter to secure the victory despite Leonard’s historic night.

Looking ahead, Memphis travels to Sacramento on Sunday, while the Clippers host Dallas on Saturday, seeking to break their home losing streak and regain momentum in the West.
