The Memphis Grizzlies will host the Sacramento Kings Thursday at FedExForum at 8:00 PM ET missing several key players due to injuries.
Ja Morant (right calf strain), Brandon Clarke (right knee surgery recovery), Ty Jerome (right calf strain), and Scotty Pippen Jr. (left great toe surgery) are all out, while Jaren Jackson Jr. (right ankle sprain) is listed as doubtful. Javon Small is sidelined with turf toe.
Memphis enters the game with a 4-11 record and has dropped its last two contests, losing 111-101 at San Antonio and 108-100 at Cleveland.
The absence of Morant and Jackson Jr. leaves the Grizzlies without their top two scorers, each averaging 17.9 points per game, and significantly limits their playmaking and floor leadership. Rookie Cedric Coward has emerged as the team’s leading scorer in their absence, averaging 14.3 points per game.
The Kings, 3-11 this season, have also struggled, falling 113-99 to the Thunder and 123-110 to San Antonio in their last two games. The team is yet to submit its own injury report.
Zach LaVine leads Sacramento with 22.7 points per game, while DeMar DeRozan averages 18.8 points and Domantas Sabonis adds 17.2 points with 12.3 rebounds per contest. Russell Westbrook directs the offense, contributing 6.4 assists per game.
Thursday marks the first meeting between Memphis and Sacramento in the 2025-26 season.
