Devin Booker scored 33 points and Dillon Brooks added 32 as the Phoenix Suns cruised past the Indiana Pacers 133-98 on Thursday at the Mortgage Matchup Center.
The Suns extended their winning streak to five games, shooting over 57% from the field and hitting 13 3-pointers.
Phoenix built a 70-52 halftime lead, with Brooks scoring 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting before the break. The Pacers briefly closed the gap to 83-73 early in the third quarter, but a 16-0 Suns run — featuring 10 consecutive points from Booker — pushed the lead to 106-84 heading into the fourth.
Booker added seven assists and five rebounds while Brooks finished 12-of-18 from the field. Oso Ighodaro chipped in 17 points, seven boards, and three blocks off the bench as Phoenix maintained control throughout the second half.
Andrew Nembhard led Indiana with 21 points, and Pascal Siakam contributed 19, but the Pacers struggled defensively, allowing 133 points just two nights after surrendering 152 to Utah. Indiana fell to 1-11, extending a six-game losing streak as injuries continue to hamper the team.
The Suns also dealt with an injury, as Grayson Allen left in the second quarter with a right quadriceps issue after scoring 12 points. The Pacers lost Aaron Nesmith to left knee soreness in the third quarter.
The Suns will host the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday, while Indiana returns home to face the Toronto Raptors on Saturday.
