Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv snapped a four-game losing streak with an 89-83 road victory over Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz at Aleksandar Nikolic Hall.

T.J. Leaf led the way with 19 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals, going a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range.

Jaylen Hoard added a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double, while Jimmy Clark, Lonnie Walker, Roman Sorkin and Jeff Dowtin also reached double figures.

Maccabi shot 45.5% from the floor and converted 79.2% of free throws, turning timely offensive rebounds into crucial second-chance points.

The first half was tight, with Maccabi holding a 53-43 lead at the break after outscoring the hosts 28-25 in the second quarter.
Baskonia rallied in the third, with Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and other contributors leveling the score at 71-71 before Maccabi pulled away early in the fourth.

The victory improves Maccabi’s record to 3-8, matching Baskonia’s 3-8 mark in the EuroLeague standings.

Maccabi will look to carry momentum into next Friday’s clash at Virtus Bologna, while Baskonia hosts FC Bayern Munich the same night.
