Nikola Jokic recorded 33 points, 16 assists, and 15 rebounds to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 122-112 win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday night at Ball Arena. The performance marked Jokic’s fifth triple-double of the 2025–26 season.
Denver improved to 5-2 overall and remained unbeaten at home with a 4-0 record. The Nuggets extended their regular-season dominance over Miami to 11 consecutive wins. Jokic reached his triple-double by securing an offensive rebound with 6:36 left in the third quarter.
Aaron Gordon added 24 points while Jamal Murray contributed 14 points and 8 assists. Denver led by as many as 17 points in the fourth quarter before the Heat trimmed the deficit to eight with 43 seconds remaining. Murray sealed the win with a pair of free throws.
Miami, now 4-4, was led by Norman Powell’s 23 points. Bam Adebayo exited after the first quarter due to a left foot injury, and the team will update his status Thursday. The Heat were outrebounded 61-38 and struggled from the field, shooting 44.2% compared with Denver’s 42.6%.
Powell opened the scoring with a three-pointer, marking the first time the Nuggets trailed at home this season. Miami has not won a regular-season game in Denver since Nov. 30, 2016. Their only recent victory in Denver came in Game 2 of the 2023 NBA Finals, but Denver claimed the series in five games en route to the franchise’s first championship.
The Nuggets will host Golden State on Friday, while Miami starts a four-game homestand against Charlotte the same night.
