The Washington Wizards will face the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday, October 30, at 8:00 PM ET at Paycom Center. Both teams are dealing with injuries that could affect rotations and playing time.

Washington will be without Marvin Bagley III, who is listed as questionable with a right ankle sprain. The Wizards will rely on Kyshawn George, averaging 20.3 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, and Alex Sarr, who adds 19.5 points and 8.8 rebounds, to lead the team. CJ McCollum and Khris Middleton are expected to contribute heavily in the backcourt and wing positions.

The Thunder have multiple key players sidelined, including Chet Holmgren (low back soreness), Thomas Sorber (right ACL recovery), Nikola Topic (surgical recovery), Jalen Williams (right wrist surgery), and Kenrich Williams (left knee surgery). Isaiah Joe is questionable with a left knee contusion.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to carry Oklahoma City’s offense, averaging 34.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per game. Isaiah Hartenstein contributes 11.0 points and 9.0 rebounds, while Luguentz Dort adds defensive versatility and perimeter scoring.

The Wizards are 1-3 this season after losses to Philadelphia, Charlotte, and Milwaukee, with a lone win on the road against Dallas. George and Sarr have consistently been top contributors, with Sarr recording a 31-point game in an overtime loss to Philadelphia.

Oklahoma City remains undefeated at 5-0, highlighted by Gilgeous-Alexander’s 55-point performance in double overtime against Indiana and consistent double-doubles from Hartenstein. Holmgren has also shown strong inside play when healthy, averaging 23.0 points and 10.3 rebounds before his absence.
