New York’s Jalen Brunson scored 36 points but appeared to injure his leg midway through the fourth quarter, sparking the Bucks’ rally.

Brunson initially hurt his leg scrambling for a loose ball and later fell while dribbling behind the three-point line. Antetokounmpo capitalized on the turnover with a steal and dunk to tie the game at 103-all, starting an 8–0 run that shifted momentum in Milwaukee’s favor.

Mikal Bridges contributed 24 points for the Knicks, who could not recover despite a strong first half and a 19-point lead in the third quarter. The Bucks converted a running layup by Antetokounmpo with 5:31 remaining to take the lead for good.

Milwaukee shot 54.4% from the field and 87.5% from the free-throw line, with balanced scoring across their lineup. The team snapped New York’s five-game winning streak in the series, having lost the previous five games after a nine-game winning streak against the Knicks that ended in 2023.
