FC Barcelona survived a tense battle at Palau Blaugrana, defeating EA7 Emporio Armani Milan 74–72 to improve to 4–3 in the EuroLeague Regular Season.
Will Clyburn led the hosts with 17 points, including a pivotal runner off the glass that gave Barcelona a 73–69 lead with 29 seconds left.
Milan responded immediately with Armoni Brooks hitting a three-pointer, leaving the visitors with a chance to steal the game, but Shavon Shields’s last-second attempt fell short.
Barcelona trailed 30–41 in the first half before a late run, sparked by Miles Norris and a buzzer-beating three from Clyburn, cut the deficit to five points at halftime.
The hosts erupted for 28 third-quarter points, but Milan kept it close until Clyburn tied the game at 54–54 with a three-pointer. Tomas Satoransky’s follow-up triple gave Barcelona its first lead, 57–56, late in the third quarter.
Despite never leading by more than four points, Barcelona’s defense in the final quarter limited Milan to 11 points.
Clyburn’s veteran leadership and timely scoring complemented a collective team effort, including contributions from Jan Vesely and Tornike Shengelia, helping Barcelona withstand Milan’s late surge.
Milan, which falls to 2–5, was led by Brooks with 15 points and Shields with 12. The Italian side struggled to maintain offensive consistency, allowing Barcelona to claim a crucial home win in a tight contest.
After a 15-point loss to Zalgiris Kaunas in the previous round, Barcelona now travels to Belgrade to face Partizan Mozzart Bet, while Milan hosts Paris Basketball, seeking a bounce-back victory.
