The Utah Jazz have officially signed guard Max Abmas and forward Cameron McGriff, strengthening depth ahead of the 2025–26 NBA season.
Abmas, a 6-foot guard from Texas, spent his first professional season with the Jazz’s G League affiliate, the SLC Stars. Last season, he played in 50 games, averaging 13.9 points, 4.8 assists, and 3.0 rebounds in 26 minutes per contest.
A five-year collegiate standout, Abmas played for Oral Roberts (2019–23) and Texas (2023–24), finishing his college career with 3,132 points, ranking eighth in NCAA history. The scoring guard is expected to bring shooting and playmaking to the Jazz roster.
McGriff, a 6-foot-7 forward from Oklahoma State, brings extensive professional experience, including stints with the Noblesville Boom, Memphis Hustle, and Greensboro Swarm in the G League. Last season with Noblesville, he averaged 12.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 28.4 minutes per game.
The forward has NBA experience, debuting with the Portland Trail Blazers in 2021–22, appearing in three games and averaging 4.7 points and 5.0 rebounds. McGriff also has an international resume, playing for Okapi Aalstar, Capitanes de Arecibo, AEK Athens, Le Mans, Santeros de Aguada, Indios de Mayaguez, and the Edmonton Stingers between 2020 and 2025.
